Discover the options available to you for branch collections in Pierrefonds-Roxboro this fall.

Branch collections

For small size branches

Every week, you are invited to use the organic waste collection (brown bin) to deposit your small size branches for pick-up. They must be placed in bundles at the curb and must meet these criterias:

  • Deciduous branches 5 cm in diameter and 1 m in length maximum, must be tied in bundles.

For large size branches and trunks

Door-to-door collections

The borough conducts 2 door-to-door collections per year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

New formula

The collection of branches will be done in three zones and at three different periods this fall. Locate in which zone you live on the map below and deposit your branches on the curb by the date indicated, at the latest.

Important

Only one collection

No branches may be placed at the curb after the latest date of your zone, without any exception. Branches deposited after your zone date will not be picked up. Our crews will drive through all borough areas to collect branches once only. No need to call 311.

How to dispose your branches at the curb

Large branches and trunks

  • Cut hardwood or softwood branches up to 20 cm (8 in) in diameter and 1.83 m (6 ft) in length;
  • Place branches in piles, uncut and untied;
  • Place the branches in line with the cut portion facing the street.

In-between the two annual door-to-door collections

If you wish to dispose of large branches and trunks, apart from the two collections planned by the borough in the fall and spring, here are the options available to you:

Écocentres

At any time, you can bring your large branches and trunks to the Saint-Laurent Écocentre, located at 3535, rue Sartelon.

Tree felling and maintenance by a contractor

The contractor is required to dispose of its residues himself.
