Ambassador of the 2023 edition

Franco Mendolia has been involved with the Associazione messinese di Montreal and the LaSalle community for over 40 years. He helps build bridges between residents of various origins, by encouraging the participation of other communities in activities organized by the organization.

Every year, the Associazione messinese di Montreal presents a large-scale show, free of charge, to share Italian culture with the residents of LaSalle. From the outset, it has organized fund-raising activities in support of various causes, including breast cancer research, in collaboration with the LaSalle Hospital Foundation and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. The Association is also involved with children through its annual distribution of hot meals to elementary school students.

In recognition of his community involvement, we are pleased to have Franco Mendolia serve as an ambassador for the 2023 edition of SHIC!
