Public access to College Sainte-Anne’s swimming pool and wading pool is available to borough residents. Here is the schedule for spring break, which is very family-friendly. Free.

Aux portes des Pays d’en Haut: le parcours du coureur des bois en famille will be held at the Musée de Lachine which will open its doors exceptionally for this day.

Interactive story listening stations at bibliothèque de Saint-Pierre, a technological activity at bibliothèque Saul-Bellow, the construction of a medieval village in LEGO bricks in the two libraries and several other workshops and shows will entertain the Lachine’s youth.

Introduction to cross-country skiing at parc Carignan (CANCELLED)

Two free activities will be offered for young people. Equipment provided! They will be held on Sundays March 3 and 10 according to the following schedule:

• 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (4 to 6 years old)
• 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (7 to 8 years old)
• 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (9 to 10 years old)
• 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (11 to 12 years old)
• 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. (13-17 years old)

Trail mechanically groomed

Glide along the 21.3-km La Riveraine trail! Mechanically groomed, the trail begins at Parc Summerlea in Lachine, runs across LaSalle’s shoreline from end to end and finishes at Parc Arthur-Therrien in Verdun. La Riveraine also includes a loop in the magnificent Parc René-Lévesque.

However, for safety reasons, some sections of the trail will be inaccessible, for example from chemin du Canal to 6e Avenue, from 21e to 34e Avenue and under Honoré-Mercier bridge in LaSalle.

Le voyage en chanson des Pères Pétu is offered to children at L’Entrepôt, maison de la culture de Lachine.  It is free of charge. However, it is mandatory to get your tickets online to secure your seats.
