Borrow outdoor equipment from four city libraries
Are you a member of the Montréal library network and want to enjoy winter to the fullest? You can borrow snowshoes, sleds, crampons and walking sticks from four city libraries.

How to borrow equipment
Before going to any of the following four libraries, use the Nelligan catalogue to check that the equipment you want to borrow is available:
- Bibliothèque Mordecai-Richler
- Bibliothèque Saul-Bellow
- Bibliothèque Marie-Uguay
- Bibliothèque de Rosemont
Children under age 14 who want to borrow equipment must be accompanied by an adult when they come to the library.
You don’t have a library card? You can subscribe online.
Borrowing period
The equipment is lent to you for a period of seven consecutive days. You cannot extend the borrowing time.
Equipment return
- You must return the equipment to the library counter where you borrowed it
- Equipment must be returned clean, dry, and in good condition, in its protective case and with all the accessories, if applicable.
