You enjoy cross-country skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, or sliding? Nature parks offer all of that and more! This season, come enjoy a plethora of activities outdoors! Destination: Montréal’s nature parks.

Take the opportunity to start traction kiting, canicross, dog sledding, or try racing on an extreme obstacle course to test both your endurance and determination.

If you prefer “lighter” activities, why not try outdoor yoga, initiation to ice fishing, or just a soothing break by the bonfire during Hygge Saturdays and Sundays.

You would like to practice a winter sport, but are not geared up for it? No problem! Some of Montréal’s nature parks offer rental equipment such as cross-country skis, snowshoes, sleds, magic carpets, children’s sleighs and ice cleats to hike safely.

Our starlit walks are back! This season, animated or thematic evenings will be offered in addition to free walks through the woods. Let your headlamp reveal pure magic.

Are you tempted to try cross-country skiing, or maybe hone your skills?  Courses are offered to small groups in 3 of our nature parks. You can choose between beginners’ or advanced levels.

GUEPE’s naturalist educators offer some twenty activities providing fun facts about the lives of mammals during the winter season, behaviour patterns in Québec’s animals, or about owls.

What if you don’t have a car? Well, don’t let that stop you! Just hop on a shuttle to make your way to either one of these nature parks: Bois-de-Liesse, Cap-Saint-Jacques or Pointe-aux-Prairies.

Nature parks all that and much more! So hurry up and enjoy them, because wintertime flies when you’re having fun!

Have a fun winter!
