The green waste collection is offered in your borough. In weeks where there is no green waste collection, you must put out these materials with the household garbage. You can also bring your green waste (including branches over 5 cm in diameter) to the ecocentre nearest you.
To find out the collection schedule, see Info-Collectes.
Good to know
Green waste is organic waste: cut grass, dead leaves, spring yard cleaning and gardening waste, etc.
Turning these materials into compost is a great way to beautify your neighbourhood and reduce the amount of garbage to be disposed of. Part of the compost produced is distributed free of charge to residents twice a year, in spring and fall.
To avoid being fined, please be sure to comply with collection schedules and conditions.
