City Council is Montréal’s primary decision-making body. It adopts municipal budgets, by-laws, programs, subsidies and governmental agreements.
City council will be held behind closed doors until further notice. To submit a question, fill out the online form. Your questions must be received before 9 a.m. the day of the meeting. A digital random draw will determine the order of questions. The Q&A period for elected officials will take place at the beginning of the meeting, at 7 p.m.
