The Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro invites the residents of the neighbourhood to participate in a public information evening concerning the upcoming redevelopment of the boulevard Lalande, as part of an operation to improve road safety in the area.

Description

Aware of the major safety issues caused by vehicles on this boulevard, which is often shared with cyclists and pedestrians, the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro will present a new development concept for the boulevard Lalande, which notably consist of a change of traffic flow to one-way, on boulevard Lalande, between rue Saraguay Est and rue Colonial.

What will be discussed?

An overall portrait of the situation will be presented to you, as well as the selected development concept that takes into consideration the impacts on the various users in terms of safety, accessibility to the sector, through traffic, peace of mind for residents and accessibility for users of nearby schools, all with the goal of improving road safety and making travel more fluid and safe for the residents of your neighbourhood.

The event will be held on April 12, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Gerry-Robertson Community Centre (9665, boulevard Gouin Ouest, Pierrefonds, QC H8Y 1R4).
