Renew an additional parking sticker

Does your family have several residents-only parking stickers? You need to renew them each year. Fees to renew your first sticker are different from fees to renew additional stickers. Find out how to renew additional stickers.

To renew your first sticker, just complete your application to renew a residents-only parking sticker. For all other stickers, follow your borough’s instructions below.

You will receive an application form in the mail. In order to receive the sticker on time, please complete it and send out your application before the final Friday in August.

The permit is valid until September 30 of the following year.

The fee varies, depending on the type of vehicle.

Fees (taxes included)

100% electric vehicle: $94.50

Hybrid vehicle

  • cylinder capacity of less than 3 litres: $136.50
  • cylinder capacity of 3 litres or more: $157.50

Gas-powered vehicle

  • cylinder capacity of less than 2 litres: $136.50
  • Cylinder capacity between 2 litres and 2.9 litres: $157.50
  • Cylinder capacity of 3 litres or more: $199.50

Proof of ownership of the vehicle: 

  • registration certificate

Proof of insurance:

  • insurance certificate with your name and address on it
  • excerpt from the insurance contract that designates you as the primary driver (in case your name is not on the insurance certificate) and shows your address

Proof of residence with your name and address (dating back no more than three months):

  • bill from a public utility (Hydro-Québec, gas or telecommunications company such as Bell, Videotron, or other provider)
  • bill from an educational institution showing your name and address
  • monthly statement from a financial or lending institution
  • valid driver’s licence

There is a 50 per cent fee reduction for people ages 65 and over upon presentation of identification.
