Businesses located in an area affected by a major city or STM project may receive a lump-sum grant of $5,000. The program should be in effect in July. Companies interested in applying can sign up to be notified of when it comes into effect.

The work must be on public infrastructure projects lasting at least 6 months that are managed by Montréal, another island municipality or the STM.

The grant may be available from the start of the project and is not conditional on a revenue loss. Eligible companies must be located in an area where a work project obstructs vehicular traffic. These areas are designated by the executive committee.

This new program is in addition to existing financial support, which provides up to $40,000 per eligible fiscal year. Additionally the existing program will be modified to simplify the application process to facilitate access to the funds by businesses. Grant requests can be made to both programs.
