Due to the forest fires raging in northern Québec and elsewhere in Canada, the city might need to modify the schedule of certain places and to cancel some outdoor activities when the smog considerably impacts the air quality.

Inhaling smoke from forest fires can be particularly risky for people with heart or lung conditions (heart disease, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, etc.). This is why it is important to follow the recommendations of the Direction régionale de santé publique on this subject.
