Want to become a pool lifeguard or a swim instructor? Courses in Lachine are subsidized by the Québec government and are now free of charge!

The National Lifeguard and Swim Instructor courses offer you a number of employment opportunities, including those in the borough. Working as a lifeguard is the ideal job for people who enjoy working in teams with other young people like you, and with the public. One thing is for sure: It’s never boring!

Thanks to a grant from the Québec government, we offer you free courses on your way to obtaining your National Lifeguard certificate or to teaching swimming. Only personal equipment such as a whistle or a pocket mask will be at your expense. To have access to these courses and to succeed, you just need to live in Québec and, of course, to attend these courses regularly.
