Want to read and have fun this summer? The TD Summer Reading Club at the Lachine libraries offers you a number of activities online and in person.
The TD Summer Reading Club will be held June 11 - August 13 for children age 13 and under.
First of all, you need to register in order to have access to a welcome kit that includes a calendar of activities and a reading log. Register online or in person at one of Lachine’s libraries: Saul-Bellow or Saint-Pierre.
Here is an overview of the summer activities:
Two stories, Je suis terrible (Élise Gravel) and Parfois je suis un renard (Danielle Daniel), will be told along literary trails using large posters. Discover the Sentiers des contes (storytime trails) outside, on the grounds of the libraries, June 23 –July 7 and July 30 – August 5.
The Sentiers des contes will join the activities of Biblio-au-parc in July, the Fête interculturelle du COVIQ on August 6 and the Festival de littérature jeunesse de Montréal on August 14.
Every week, we’ll send you an email with different challenges and quest in order to become an hero in the imaginary country of Nelachi created by TD Summer reading Club.
