This summer, the arts are coming to Montréal’s neighbourhoods in a new and different way. Discover unique and original creative projects, free of charge. Online or in your neighbourhood, podcasts and innovative creations will show you Montréal from a different perspective.
Montréal through podcasts
Starting on July 31st, you can listen to podcasts on CBC’s OHdio app. Enjoy itineraries filled with discoveries, information, and relaxation. The contents will be enhanced throughout the summer. From music, to history, to architecture, to theatre, to literature and storytelling, get carried away by sounds as you stroll through the city’s neighbourhoods.
A diverse array of works of art in public places
Beginning in mid-August and over the course of the next few months, works of arts and digital installations will be set up in public places, particularly along Montréal’s safe active transportation circuits. Enjoy being a tourist in your own city and take the time to visit these spaces to admire the work of a variety of artists.
An interactive map to help you discover
A progressive interactive map (in French) helps you find activities by neighbourhood until October. It shows the podcasts, artwork, and activities offered by the MEM, the Quartier des spectacles, Montréal en histoire or boroughs. Pedestrian lanes configured for the summer are also shown on the map.. To plan your outings, check out the map regularly.
