The Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro is pleased to present a summer program consisting of a series of free shows offered in a dozen parks on its territory, and a host of fun activities in the Pierrefonds and William-G.-Boll libraries.

A cultural program entirely presented in a park near you

Residents are invited to stroll through the parks all across their borough to attend the 16 shows in our cultural program, which is designed to be entertaining, danceable and festive!

Come hear musicians from the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal in Parc des Anciens-Combattants; attend Shakespearean plays in Parc d’À-Ma-Baie; be in for some surprises with Mr. Gazon’s prowess with his balls, bowling pins, knives, unicycles and fire torches! In addition, there is jazz, traditional, Latin and country-folk music, as well as circus performances, theatre and clown acts. It’s an event for young and old. Make sure to bring your folding chairs.

Activities, workshops, films and conferences in our libraries

The Pierrefonds Library and the William G. Boll Library are presenting a host of free activities, including the customising of badges for the Canada Day parade; the creation of an Ogopogo robot during a robotics workshop; the cultural exploration of the Wixárika Nation, an indigenous people living in Mexico; gardening workshops; several films, and much more.

There is something for all ages and tastes! All activities are offered with registration and free of charge with a Bibliothèques de Montreal card.

Play and move in the parks of the borough with the Récré-O-Bus team

This summer, take part in the various activities offered by the Pierrefonds-Roxboro Récré-O-Bus team in our public parks. Every day, sports, recreational and outdoor activities are offered for the whole family, free of charge. No need to register, just show up on site!

Many activities will be proposed: soccer, basketball, giant chess game, giant snake and ladder game, skipping ropes, flag game, trampoline, circuits, pickle ball, tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, croquet, kin ball, and much more!

Storytelling and educational activities for children in the parks with the animation team of Libraries: Full STEAM Ahead

Pierrefonds-Roxboro libraries are coming to meet you in the neighbourhood parks to offer youngsters aged 4 to 12 fun activities where they will have to innovate, in order to take up different challenges and artistic projects, in connection with the stories that will be presented to them. Enjoy this weekly family outing to entertain your kids!

Each week, Wednesday through Saturday, show up with your family on site during the activity hours. No registration required.

Two public markets to attend all summer long in our neighbourhoods

Discover the À-Ma-Baie Solidarity Market and the Château-Pierrefonds Public Market and stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a variety of local products.

It’s a great opportunity to encourage local merchants and consume tasty seasonal products, as well as participate in the vitality of the neighbourhood.
