Réinventer Montréal 2020-21: the finalists

Published January 26, 2021
Last updated January 26, 2021

Four finalist teams were selected following the Réinventer Montréal 2020-2021 call for proposals. These teams are now moving on to phase 2 of the competition, which involves proposing a project to revitalize the site at 4000 Rue Saint-Patrick in Le Sud-Ouest.

An innovative project covering 28,000 m2

Through Réinventer Montréal 2020-2021, the city is pursuing its ecological transition by seeking to re-energize 4000 Rue Saint-Patrick in Le Sud-Ouest. This site, with a surface area of about 28,000 m², offers exceptional views of the Lachine Canal, downtown and Mount Royal. Its strategic location makes it possible to envision an ambitious flagship project that will have a major impact on the area’s residents.

Finalists will be required to propose projects that combine employment, economic development, and community and cultural activities. Their proposal will make this site exemplary in terms of sustainable development, environmental standards and greenhouse gas emissions.
