Accelerating the transition

Workshops, panels, roundtables… the event was designed to foster exchanges and yield sustainable solutions in a variety of fields of economic activity. As a result, numerous strategic connections were created, leading the way for promising partnerships.

The ensuing connections have yielded fruitful results towards accelerating the ecological transition and building a greener, more innovative economy!

Doing business with the city

Participants were also presented with the procurement practices of the main stakeholders and contractors. Montréal also seized this opportunity to showcase its action plan with respect to local and responsible procurement practices, and to unveil its new tool: The ABCs of responsible procurement, designed to provide guidance to suppliers.

The city grants the “Coup de coeur” award to the Resto Plateau and Renournzy

Just like last year, ÉCO-RDV ended with the Eurêka! Award, celebrating outstanding initiatives for sustainable transition in a variety of fields.

The city granted the Coup de cœur award to the Resto Plateau, the first Montréal caterer to adopt the reusable packaging solutions designed by Retournzy.

Since 2024, the 360 compartment lunch boxes purchased by the Resto Plateau were used 6,135 times, with an average of 17 uses per unit. This represents significant progress in the reduction of catering waste!
