Come celebrate the kickoff of the summer cultural program at Pierrefonds-Roxboro during our event, on June 6 and 7, 2026.
Description
Throughout the weekend, a range of captivating activities will be offered for free.
Here’s the full program.
Saturday, June 6
- Big book sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Public market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Pierrefonds Repair Café, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Face painting and giant games, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Pour toi mon coco booth, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. : Educational booth to learn fun facts about chickens, along with a craft activity to create your own personalized chicken.
- Discovery booth, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. : The Imprint of Your Plate - learn simple, everyday actions to help protect the environment through food choices.
- Roving performances : Lybella, Insect Woman: 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. / Flower Women: 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
- Art Hive, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. : Collective wind chime creation using recycled materials, promoting sustainable creativity and collaboration, plus an exhibition of eco‑responsible comic books. Participants are invited to bring an unused household item; recycled materials will also be provided and shared on site.
Sunday, June 7
Big book sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Workshop: arts and crafts, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Activity: the mysterious box, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. : A mysterious box inspired by an escape‑room experience, where participants must solve puzzles to unlock it.
- Art Hive, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. : Collective wind chime creation using recycled materials, promoting sustainable creativity and collaboration, plus an exhibition of eco‑responsible comic books. Participants are invited to bring an unused household item; recycled materials will also be provided and shared on site.
- Performance: Caisse 606 by La Fille du laitier, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. : Two grocery store cashiers, stuck in their daily routine, dream of elsewhere—where carrots dance and the sun tastes like pineapple. Blending fantasy and reality, the show transforms the everyday into a poetic quest for freedom, recognition and escape.
Most activities will take place outdoors on the terrace of the Pierrefonds library, as well as at the Pierrefonds cultural centre.
