Maison Robert-Bélanger celebrated at the Grands Prix du design
The unique outdoor design, created by WAA+, earned top honors at the 18th edition of the Grands Prix du Design.
In the Architecture / Landscape Architecture – Cultural and institutional category, the project earned the Gold certification and was awarded the title of Grand Winner in the Landscape and Territory discipline.
The Robert-Bélanger House is a heritage building constructed between 1803 and 1806 in Saint-Laurent, reflecting 19th-century rural architecture and the agricultural past of Montréal Island. Inspired by the theme of self-sufficiency, the designers incorporated an ancestral vegetable garden, a reinvented orchard, and a space for hosting small cultural events. Today, the house is dedicated to cultural and community activities connected to ecological transition.
