The Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur is renowned as one of the city’s most prestigious concert halls. Its enclosure, which was restored in 1985, offers music lovers an intimate atmosphere that combines exceptional acoustics with sacred architecture whose original characteristics have been preserved. The concert hall’s unique musical instruments, which include a Fazioli concert grand piano and a 1772 Kirckman harpsichord, add to the chapel’s solid reputation.
Admission to most concerts presented as part of the chapel’s program of events is free. The chapel is a member of the city’s network of arts centres and for 30 years, it has worked with some of the city’s biggest musical partners to present its activities. Each season, its diverse program of events that is filled with creativity, excellence and discovery is a tribute to the vitality of our city’s musical scene.
