Parc La Fontaine skating rink
The skating rink at Parc La Fontaine is built on the pond alongside Avenue du Parc-La Fontaine. The two hockey rinks are set up near the Centre Calixa-Lavallée on Rue Rachel est.
Description
Skate to the sound of music on an illuminated recreational rink, or get your adrenaline rush on one of the park’s two hockey rinks.
Rental equipment is available (starting mid-January)
- Monday to Friday : 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday : 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Last rentals are done one hour before closing.

Parc La Fontaine features four skating rinks:
- Large team sports rink
- Small team sports rink
- Park pond for free skating (background music)
- Refrigerated skating rink (free skating, ideal for beginners)
Rules to follow
- The rinks are open to the public
- Everyone who uses the ice must wear skates
- On rinks without boards:
- Users must all skate in the same direction
- Hockey sticks, brooms, strollers and sleds are not permitted
- People who engage in dangerous behaviour will be asked to leave the rink
- The city is not responsible for accidents or for lost or stolen items
