The small beach at Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard is located on the shores of Lac des Deux Montagnes, at the bottom of a bay. Thanks to its shallow waters, it is an ideal place for young families.
Description
Located in a shaded area near the Pointe-aux-Carrières lookout, the small beach at Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard is nestled in a peaceful natural setting. It is supervised during opening hours by certified lifeguards.

Rules to follow
Secteur de la plage:
- Dogs (and other domestic animals) must remain outside the secteur de la plage
- Glass containers pose a risk of injury and must be kept un users’ vehicles or disposed of in a recycling bin before entering the secteur de la plage
- Please listen to your music with headphones. Radios and sound systems disturb the peace of wildlife in natural and protected areas.
In the picnic areas:
- Alcohol is permitted only in picnic areas and must accompany a meal.
- Portable cooking devices (e.g., barbecues) must be placed on the ground, not on picnic tables or other furniture.
In the sandy area:
- Users must walk beside their bicycles or scooters.
- Meals, picnics, barbecues, or any food setups must be held in designated picnic areas.
- Coolers are allowed in picnic areas; otherwise, they must be stored in vehicles.
In the swimming area:
- Swimmers must stay within the designated swimming area, marked by buoy lines.
- Access to the swimming area is only permitted during supervised hours when lifeguards are present.
- Swimwear is mandatory.
- Non-motorized watercraft must be launched in the designated area.
- Non-motorized watercraft must navigate outside the swimming area and away from ecological restoration zones.
Along the shoreline:
- The shoreline is an ecological restoration zone. Walking and hiking must be done only on trails, paths, or grassy areas.
