BMX track at the Parc de l'École secondaire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles
RDP-PAT has an outdoor BMX track on its grounds that is certified for regional-level competitions - the only one of its kind on the island of Montréal! The track is located in the Parc de l’École secondaire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles.

Description
The track, which opened in 2013, is more than 280 linear metres long and nearly 3 metres wide. It has an MG-20 crushed stone base that is approximately 300 mm thick and is covered with 50 mm of Tenset.
An imposing four-lane hydraulic starting gate allows cycling enthusiasts to quickly pick up speed to tackle the series of 13 jumps, 14 flats and three paved turns! The track's layout also offers easier sections for children and beginners.
Recreational and competitive
The BMX track is certified for regional-level competitions, and hosted the Montréal Jeux du Québec in finals in 2016. It was designed with help from the Fédération des sports cyclistes du Québec and other specialized professionals.
The BMX Montréal Club holds events and offers lessons there. The track is reserved for the club during these periods.
This facility is the only BMX racing track on the island of Montréal.
Rules to follow
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Wearing a full-face helmet is mandatory.
- Only BMX or mountain bikes are allowed on the track. Motor vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited.
- Alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the track.
- Riding on the track is prohibited if the surface is wet.
- For everyone’s safety, it is important to obey the direction of traffic.
- Please dispose of your waste in the garbage cans.
- It is prohibited to use the track to perform bike maintenance.
The BMX track is open from sunrise to sunset.
