The Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent celebrates its 60-year Anniversary!
Sixty years ago, in 1965, the Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent as we know it today was taking shape.
Modernized over the years while preserving the cachet that gives it its charm, it will mark the occasion with two full days of activities on September 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., during the Journées de la culture, under the theme Encrée dans la communauté. Among the program’s highlights are the launch of two exhibitions, the unveiling of a mural, and a talk by the renowned Montréal cartoonist Michel Rabagliati, well known for his Paul series.
