Enjoy your first camping experience, as a couple, a family or a group, at the Parc-nature du Cap-Saint-Jacques. Get away from it all without leaving the city.

Five sites await you

The park has five sites that can accommodate two adults or a family of four (with 1 or 2 children). You need to bring your own tent. 

There is also a large site for organized groups of up to 36 people. Campers stay in a prospector tent provided by the park. 

The sites are built on wooden platforms and are near each other. No services (water or electricity) are available, but each site has a picnic table. A communal fire ring is available for all campers. 

The sites are not accessible by vehicle. Carts are available to move supplies.

The nearby service centre provides access to restrooms, showers and a common space for cooking and washing dishes.

Free activities for all

Campers can enjoy many free activities: Kayaking and canoeing, forest rallies, visits to the wetlands interpretation centre, volleyball, listening to tales and legends around a campfire, and more.

The rates

During the period with beach supervision:

  • One site (maximum of 4 adults and 2 children aged 17 and under): $61.40 per day (taxes included) 

Outside the beach supervision period :

  • One site (maximum of 4 adults and 2 children aged 17 and under): $40.90 per day (taxes included)

The cost for groups varies depending on the number and age of the visitors and if support is required.

The cost also includes access to the Cap-Saint-Jacques beach. 

Parking fees are extra.

Reservations

You need to make a reservation in all cases. 

September 3 to October 30: Stays offered on weekends only.

  • Camper’s name 
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Dates of stay
  • Number of adults and children (17 years and under)

A staff member will contact you to confirm your reservation or suggest another date, if necessary.
