Emergency preparedness kit financial assistance
Subsidy offered: 50% up to $175 before taxes on the purchase of a home emergency kit and a road safety kit for the car per address
Eligible products: one home emergency kit and one car emergency kit.

Financial assistance for the purchase of sustainable feminine hygiene products
Subsidy offered: 50% of the total bill for a maximum of $150 before taxes per address
Eligible products: menstrual cups, washable period panties, washable sanitary napkins, washable inserts.

Financial assistance for the use of cloth diapers for babies
Grant offered: Up to $150 before taxes.

Financial assistance for the use of environmentally-friendly household equipment
Subsidy offered: 50% up to $125 before taxes
Eligible Products: Household composters, vermicomposters, electronic thermostats, dimmers, motion sensors, LED bulbs, caulking and sealants for doors, windows and roofs (acrylic latex, mastic, silicone, urethane), waterproofing tape, weatherstripping and weather stripping for doors and windows, wall insulation, air and vapor barriers, solar panels and lamps

Financial assistance for the use of fuel-free landscaping equipment
Grant offered: 50% of the bill for a maximum of $200 before taxes will be granted per residential building and per responsible person (owner or tenant). Limit of one device per building per year.
Eligible Products: Electric, battery or manual lawnmowers, electric or battery-powered edgers, electric or battery-powered hedge trimmers, electric or battery-powered leaf blowers, electric or battery-powered snowblowers, electric or battery powered chainsaws.
More support is offered to low-income families.

Grant for the purchase of bikes and equipment

The grant program for the year 2023 is now closed due to the depletion of allocated funds.

Grant available:
Used bicycle :
 50% of the invoice for a maximum of $150 before taxes will be granted when purchased in a social economy enterprise or in a business located on the territory of Saint-Laurent.
50% of the invoice for a maximum of $125 before taxes will be granted when purchased from another person.

New bicycle: 50% of the invoice for a maximum of $100 before taxes. 

New or used electric bicycle (electric bicycle with rechargeable battery): 50% of the invoice to a maximum of $250 before taxes.

New or used equipment: 50% of the invoice for a maximum of $100 before taxes.

Eligible products: used, new and electric bicycles, studded or knobby tires, fenders, baby and child bike seats, bike trailers and tow bars (commonly called “giraffes”), bike bags

More support is available for low-income families.

Grant for eco-friendly home renovations

Grant available: 25% of the grant amount obtained under recognized Quebec and Canadian government programs, up to a maximum amount of $500 before taxes per residence.
Eligible work: Work that has previously received a grant under certain government programs.
A higher level of support is offered to low-income families.

Grant for the purchase of electric charging stations

Subsidy offered: 35% of the subsidy amount obtained under the Quebec government’s recognized Go Green program, up to a maximum amount of $210 before taxes per residence.  
Eligible types of charging stations: To be eligible, the residence for which the charging station was purchased and installed must have previously received a grant under the Go Green (Quebec) program. The residence must be located on the territory of Saint-Laurent.
A higher level of support is offered to low-income families.
