Infrastructure repair on Rue Lindsay

Montréal is repairing sewer and water mains. As part of the project, the road surface and sidewalks will also be redeveloped.

The project includes rebuilding sewer and water mains and replacing lead water service lines for selected buildings. The sidewalks will also be widened without impacting traffic lanes.

Rue Lindsay, between Rue Beaudet and Rue du Collège.

What?

Repairs on sewer and water mains and sidewalks, as well as the replacement of lead water service lines, will be carried out in three stages:

  1. At the intersection of Rue Lindsay and Rue Beaudet
  2. On Rue Lindsay, between Rue Beaudet and Rue du Collège
  3. At the intersection of Rue Lindsay and Rue du Collège

All parts of the roadway affected by the project will be repaved when the project is complete. 

Why?

This project is necessary to ensure the quality of drinking water and the sustainability of municipal infrastructure.

Access to borough hall

Rue Beaudet will be closed to traffic for a few weeks at the intersection of Rue Lindsay. Due to obstructions caused by the project, there will be an alternate access to borough hall.
