This project will contribute to the greening of the Parcours Gouin riverside circuit in the northern part of the island. It was one of the winning projects in the first edition of the city’s participatory budget.

Description

Greening of this circuit that connects several boroughs along the shores of the Rivière des Prairies and that is destined to become an active mobility and outdoor recreation corridor on this part of the island.

This project will be implemented in five boroughs, with a total budget of $3 million.

Benefits

  • Promote biodiversity and the quality of life of residents.
  • Promote the discovery, protection and appropriation of the Rivière des Prairies.
  • Develop a connectivity and a vegetation-specific signature along the length of the circuit.
