The À-Ma-Baie solidarity market

The main objective of the À-Ma-Baie solidarity market is to improve access to fresh food at fair prices in your neighbourhood. The market takes place every Thursday at Place À-Ma-Baie, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., from July 4 to October 17, 2024. 

A grassroots initiative, this market operates on a “pay what you can” basis. A suggested price is displayed for each food item. This amount represents a fair sum, which allows the farmers to be compensated and to pay for the organisation of the market. Customers are invited to pay what they can afford! 

All the fruits and vegetables sold at the market are grown by producers within a 30-kilometre radius of our borough.

The Pierrefonds public market

The Pierrefonds Public Market is returning in the summer of 2024, under a completely new format. On June 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you’ll have the chance to discover local produce from local farmers on the outdoor terrace of the Pierrefonds Library. Come and stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables. 

Over fifteen vendors offer a variety of products: baked goods, pastries, various meats, fruit and vegetables, teas of all kinds, maple products, pesto, handicrafts, and much more. 

The Pierrefonds Public Market is organized by VertCité, with the support of the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

Schedule
