Where? 

The work will take place in 4 distinct phases on Avenue Atwater between: 

  • Avenue Lincoln and Boulevard De Maisonneuve Ouest 
  • Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest and Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest 
  • Rue Saint-Jacques and Rue Notre-Dame Ouest 
  • Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest and Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest

What? 

Inspection and monitoring of a main water line located under Atwater Avenue led to the conclusion that this line requires short-term repairs. These repairs will involve replacing 6-metre segments of the main water line: 

  • Reconstruction on a water main; 
  • Replacement of valves;​ 
  • Street paving. 

Why? 

This work is necessary to ensure a reliable, continuous, and safe drinking water distribution service to the population of the Island of Montreal.
