What you need to know about the work site

When

November 2025 to May 2026

Where

Rue Fullum between Rue Larivière and Rue Ontario Est

Rue Larivière between Rue Fullum and Rue Dufresne

Rue D’Iberville south of Rue de Rouen

What

Rehabilitation of the collector sewer, which dates back to 1891 and is located beneath Rue D’Iberville, Rue Larivière and Rue Fullum.

The chosen method is to insert a flexible liner, which is then hardened. This technique strengthens the structure without requiring major excavations and mitigates the impacts on nearby residents and on mobility, since only occasional excavations are required.

Why

Imminent action to improve the current structural condition and eliminate the risk of failures.

It was determined that rehabilitation work must be carried out in the very short term to ensure structural integrity, improve hydraulic capacity, correct physical deficiencies and prevent infiltration.
