Reading time: 2 min

The Papineau/des Carrières underpass, built in 1930, is located at the border of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and Plateau-Mont-Royal boroughs.

This project will allow for a full revitalization of the area, by ensuring safer pedestrian and biker mobility, by reducing traffic, and by creating greener public spaces.

Several artistic elements, such as concrete stamps and the creation of a mural are also part of the renewal project. These elements will enhance the experience for the population by highlighting architectural aspects and new developments.
