Renewal of the Duluth stairway
The city plans to rebuild the stairway, as it has reached the end of its useful life. The work is necessary to maintain safe access to the park.

In the Parc du Mont-Royal, near Avenue Duluth Ouest
What?
Construction work includes :
- Painting the railings
- Replacing the wooden decking
- Adding a granite ledge and levelling the trail
Why?
- Ensure the durability of the stairway linking Avenue Duluth Ouest and Chemin Olmsted
- Offer safe access to the trails
- Preserve natural environments by avoiding the creation of makeshift trails
- Offer improved accessibility to the Parc du Mont-Royal and an improved user experience
In accordance with the by-law concerning migratory birds, the contractor aims to complete construction work by the fall of 2026.
