Repair work on the damaged water main in Ville-Marie
The city is continuing repair work on the 84-inch water main that ruptured on August 16 in the Centre-Sud sector of Ville-Marie.
When
Phase 2
The carbon fiber repair work will secure a second section of the 84-inch water main. The carbon fiber is laid from the inside of the pipe, to which workers gain access via a nearby manhole.
Phase 1
The work will replace a 6-metre segment of the drinking water main that has been closed since it burst.
