Meet the members of the jury

Amélie Hadouchi

Born in Montreal, Amelia (née Amélie Hadouchi) was introduced to the arts at a very young age. Following her passion for the arts, at the age of nine she took part in painting workshops and has never stopped since. She studied International Business and Languages at Dawson College and then enrolled in the Interior Design programme at a private school. Sharing her creations on social media got her noticed by a Miami art gallery, which invited her to exhibit her work at the 2015 Art Basel festival. This was her very first exhibition. Being surrounded by accomplished artists at the time motivated her to pursue her career as a professional painter and develop her network of collectors internationally.

Marthe Carrier

Originally from the Quebec City region, Marthe Carrier lives and works in Montreal. In 1991, she obtained a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal, after completing studies at Concordia University. Since then, the artist has taken part in a number of exhibitions, including Diversité et rapprochements, which toured across Canada. She is currently curator and director of Galerie B-312 in Montréal.

Zoé Boivin

Originally from Granby, Zoé Boivin moved to Montréal in 2010 to give herself over to her artistic side. After an academic career in graphic design and communications, Zoé began working in the media industry, where she developed her artistic vision and made room for her creative approach and sensibility.

Inspired by the great artists of her generation, whom she has worked alongside in her various experiences, Zoé connects with their vision and in turn shares her essence and passion for creating images, to make the world a little more beautiful in her own way, one emotion at a time.
