À corps et vins – Maison Verso, in co-production with Agora de la danse
À corps & vins transforms the theater into a temporary wine region where wine and dance interact. Guided by a sommelier, the audience tastes the wines while four performers translate the aromas into movement.
Description
Alcohol served
À corps & vins is an experience where wine tasting and performance blend together in a 90-minute immersive show. Guided by a Quebec sommelier and four performers, audience members explore a unique dialogue between wine and dance. Each glass served throughout the evening is paired with a choreographed sequence, creating a sensory and artistic experience. The audience, comfortably seated, does not dance: they taste, they contemplate, and they journey.
The performance transforms the theater into an ephemeral terroir, where wine breathes through movement. In this sensory setting, the wines reveal themselves slowly, guided by a seasoned sommelier whose wisdom flows effortlessly. Each glass is paired with a choreographic composition, where bodies—sometimes robust, sometimes velvety—infuse the space with textures and nuances.
