In recent years, this milestone has been difficult to reach. Let’s challenge ourselves and work together to make this number a goal to exceed. It’s essential that we pull together to maintain the blood supply needed every day. Every person’s contribution—whether it’s their first donation or their hundredth—makes all the difference.

Are you afraid of needles? Don’t panic. The staff on site will put you at ease to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Before coming to a blood drive, you can always check your eligibility by calling Donor Customer Service at 1-800-847-2525 or visiting the Héma-Québec website.

Be prepared

• Make an appointment to reserve a time slot.
• Wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up past the elbow.
• Have your Héma-Québec donor card or a photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, health insurance card, or passport) ready.
• Be sure to stay well-hydrated and eat within one hour before donating.
