The exhibition “The Other Side” consists of images that seem universal, yet cannot be found just anywhere—transcending time, space, and culture.

This series emerged from a simple act: walking alone through unfamiliar places and observing them. In cities like Montreal and elsewhere around the world, I capture often-overlooked scenes of everyday life—nameless moments that defy existing categories. By connecting images taken in different locations, I seek to create a visual experience that transcends the boundaries of language and perception.

In this series, many images are composed with a gaze directed toward the distance, as if they were contemplating “the other side.” This “other side” is not limited to physical distance but also encompasses time, memory, and inner life. I position myself in this in-between space, exploring through photography the relationship between perception and consciousness.
