More than 200 years after this work’s revolutionary premiere, the message of Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony remains timeless and powerful, reflecting the deep bond between humans and their environment.
Continuing this celebration of nature, two of Canada’s most inspiring contemporary composers, Keiko Devaux and Ian Cusson, introduce their latest works: musical visions of the earth expressed through image-rich palettes imbued with empathy.
