Travel back to the world of education in the time of our great-grandparents with Mother Marie-Anne, born Esther Sureau dit Blondin, better known as Esther Blondin. The first part of this presentation traces Esther Blondin’s journey and the founding of her religious community. The second part focuses on the community’s first mission, established in Sainte-Geneviève in 1851, and its contribution to education and local history.
