Do you own one or more buildings in the greater Montréal area and want to notify the city’s property assessment department of a mailing address change? Do you want to change the name of the primary owner of a building? Find out how.

You can contact us to change: 

  • The primary owner of a building: If your building has more than one owner, only one owner will receive mail from us.
  • Your mailing address: You can change your address or add a designee (e.g. in care of X, to the attention of X).
  • Your language of communication: If you consider yourself to be among the exceptions provided for in the Act respecting French, the official and common language of Québec, you can ask to receive documents in English.
