Renew a library document
Haven’t finished reading the books or viewing the documents you borrowed from the library? Not to worry, you can hang on to them for longer by extending the loan period online, on site or by telephone.
You can renew most of the documents borrowed, except those that have already been reserved by another subscriber, or those that subscribers are not permitted to renew. Contact your local library for further information on the subject.
Number of renewals
You can renew:
- Books, DVDs, CDs, games, toys and musical instruments: three times.
- Console video games: once.
Renewal period
As soon as you renew your item, you can keep it for a period equal to that of the initial loan.
On the fifth day that an item is late, your account will be blocked and renewals will not be authorized. To reactivate your account, you must return the late item to your library.
