Essential services related to public health and safety will continue to operate. However, disruptions are to be expected.

Services Remain Unchanged

• All collection services
• Repair of traffic signs and signals damaged as a result of an accident, among other causes
• Safety pruning and tree removal (emergency response for public trees)
• Road repairs (potholes and major subsidence)
• Cleaning of public spaces to ensure safe coexistence
• Emergency operations related to sewers and water mains
• Preventive inspection of municipal arenas
• Operations related to spring flooding in certain boroughs (Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Île-Bizard) as soon as Intervention Level 1 is reached
• Operations related to drinking water production and wastewater treatment
• Maintenance of living collections (animal, plant, and entomological)
• Emergency situations (exceptional and urgent situations not covered by the agreement, situations that endanger the health and safety of the public, or emergencies declared by municipal authorities)

Municipal facilities open

• Road repairs (emergencies only)
• Work on the water and sewer system (emergencies only)
• The Accès Montréal Office
• Pierrefonds and William G.-Boll Libraries
• Community centers

Open activities canceled

The open pickleball session at St. Anthony School’s gym is canceled on the evening of Wednesday, April 15.

No Parking Zones

The parking restrictions normally in effect from Wednesday through Friday due to street maintenance will be lifted during the strike.

Return to normal on Saturday, April 18, at 6 a.m.

 Regular schedules and services will resume starting Saturday morning.
