To obtain a draw coupon, young people aged 18 and under must borrow 5 books. Unlimited entries throughout the month. The draw will take place on October 31 in both libraries.Who will get the candies?

Trick-or-Treating in Spectacular Settings

On October 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., both Lachine libraries will welcome visitors in an extraordinary atmosphere:

The bibliothèque Saul-Bellow celebrates Halloween with a Día de Muertos theme, featuring a live music group, Mexican altars, vibrant decorations, and, of course, candy for everyone!

At the bibliothèque de Saint-Pierre, travel back to Halloween’s ancient roots with a festive celebration full of thrills and treats! Mysterious characters will reveal the origins of Halloween through captivating stories, while a trio of Celtic musicians fills the space with enchanting melodies. Bewitching décor, entertainment, and games are all part of the experience!

The program also includes Halloween slime-making and pumpkin decorating activities.

Skating at Aréna Pierre « Pete » Morin

The arena will be specially decorated and animated for the occasion. On October 25, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., meet characters who have travelled from a galaxy far, far away, skate in costume (while keeping your safety and that of others in mind), and, of course, satisfy your sweet tooth!

Halloween on rue Notre-Dame

The shopkeepers' candy hunt is back on Friday, October 23! Put on your best costumes and join the Halloween festivities starting at 6 p.m. on Notre-Dame Street, between 6th and 18th Avenue. For the occasion, this section of the street will be closed to traffic and open to pedestrians. 

As a partner of this annual event organized by the Notre-Dame Street Business Development Corporation (SDC), the Borough is pleased to present Les Petites Tounes in a festive concert at 7 p.m. in the park at the corner of 11th Avenue.
