Held on Sunday, April 12 under sunny skies, the 33rd edition was no exception, with 1,050 participants of all ages taking part in the 1, 2, 5 and 10 km events. They participated individually or as part of two challenges offered to institutions and organizations.

In the Défi scolaire, two institutions stood out: École Murielle-Dumont in the participatory category and École Katimavik in the competitive category. 

As for the Défi corporatif, which attracted six teams, it was won by Collège Vanier, followed by the Forces du ministère de la Défense nationale in second place and the Arrondissement de Saint-Laurent in third place, with the participation of 30 municipal employees.

More than 60 volunteers contributed to the success of this sporting event organized by the Club d’athlétisme Saint-Laurent Sélect inc. in collaboration with the Arrondissement de Saint-Laurent and other partners, including the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal. The Course Saint-Laurent is part of the Circuit endurance, a series of races held across Quebec for more than 30 years.

In the photo on the right, the City Councillor for Norman-McLaren District, Aref Salem, is joined by some of the members of the Arrondissement de Saint-Laurent team, which came in third in the Défi corporatif.
