REM: More free parking at Sunnybrooke and Pierrefonds-Roxboro

The Borough is glad to highlight that the REM will convert some of the paid parking spaces into free ones. 

In total, 120 free spaces will be added at Sunnybrooke and 203 at Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

This decision is based on observed parking patterns and the needs expressed by users. 

Paid parking will remain available for those who wish to secure a spot. This improvement is part of a broader review of parking options at several stations across the network. 

Implementation dates 

Sunnybrooke: August 21 

Pierrefonds-Roxboro: August 27 

This improvement makes public transit even more accessible to borough residents.
