Mitigation measures put in place

Vélo Québec and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) will implement several measures to minimize impacts on the Saint-Laurent community:

  • Deployment of road safety officers (neighbourhood officers) to support traffic flow and ensure the safety of all road users
  • Installation of temporary signage on site
  • To limit through traffic in residential streets and facilitate access for residents, some streets will be restricted to local residents only

These measures aim to reduce congestion, maintain access for emergency services, and limit impacts on public safety. However, traffic slowdowns may still occur.

Residents are encouraged to plan their trips in advance and, whenever possible, avoid the area during the event.
