To ensure cyclists can compete safely, the following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic:

Bonaventure Expressway

Closed toward downtown only on:

• Saturday, September 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
• Sunday, September 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Monday, September 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 22, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

René-Lévesque Boulevard

Closed between Champlain Bridge Street and Jacques-Le Ber Street on:

• Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
• Monday, September 21, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Access to Highway 15 North from Pointe-Nord, Ile-des-Soeurs

The access ramp will be closed on the following dates and times:

• Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Monday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Samuel-De Champlain Bridge

Closed toward Montréal only on:

• Saturday, September 26, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Sunday, September 27, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Recommended Detour Routes During the Bonaventure Expressway Closure

For your travels, use Ville-Marie Expressway whenever possible.

From September 19 to 21, access to downtown Montréal will be via the South Shore using the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, which will allow drivers to rejoin Highway 15 North.

On September 22, the access ramp to Highway 15 North from Pointe-Nord, Nuns’ Island will be open.

During the Bonaventure Expressway Closure

Update, September 19, 2026

• Exit 58 from Highway 15 North, providing access to Nuns’ Island (Île-des-Soeurs) and Bonaventure Expressway, will be completely closed from September 19 to 22.
• Exit 60 from Highway 15 North (Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard) will be completely closed from September 19 to 21. Detour via Exit 61 “Atwater Ave.” or Route 136 East “Downtown Montréal.”
• If you need to access addresses located on Marc-Cantin Street, it is recommended to use Atwater Avenue.

Follow on-site signage. For real-time traffic conditions, consult transportation planning apps such as Waze.

Public Transit

Some bus routes may be disrupted, and certain stops may be relocated. Visit stm.info/UCI and follow on-site signage.

Parking

Parking along the course will be prohibited starting September 18 at midnight.
