A Renewed Partnership with RAP Jeunesse
The partnership between Saint-Laurent and RAP Jeunesse continues in the neighbourhood. Various services are offered to young people, including a drop-in space at the Parc Painter community centre, in partnership with Horizons Tatamis. This space gives 16-25-year-old Saint-Laurent residents a place to get together, take part in activities and talk with a support worker, if needed.
A street worker is also always on hand in public spaces to build trust with young people. The support provided is based on a voluntary approach focused on helping relationships and harm reduction, allowing for the discussion of everyday challenges.
