Description
To make a reservation or for the available schedules and rates, call or visit the arena.
The reopening will be done gradually as of September 21 and continue until early November. Measures will be implemented to account for COVID-19.
Rules to follow
-
Reserving online or by telephone is not required for recreational ice skating and pick-up hockey.
- Players, parents and coaches must comply with the protocol developed by each sports federation.
- For unsupervised activities (drop-in activities and adult leagues), the arena manager and staff are responsible for applying the guidelines.
- In the players’ dressing room, physical distancing guidelines will differ, depending on the age group of the participants, which will influence total capacity.
- Ages 16 and under | Minimum distance to observe: 1 m
- Ages 17 and over | Minimum distance to observe: 2 m
- A minimum distance of 2 m must be observed inside the arena.
- A minimum distance of 2 m must be observed in the stands, as opposed to the 1.5 m distance that must be observed in performance halls.
- Wearing a mask is mandatory, and people ages 10 and over must wear a mask indoors at all times (on arriving, when circulating, in locker rooms and in the stands, etc.), including support staff, coaches, employees and spectators, except under the following circumstances:
- When the participant is engaged in physical and sports activities.
- When the participant is seated on the players’ bench waiting for a substitution (in team sports, for example) and the minimum physical distancing of 1 or 2 m is observed (depending on the participant’s age).
- For the practice of sports, mask-wearing guidelines are determined by the protocols set out by the concerned sports federations.
- Dressing room showers are not accessible. Only the washrooms and sinks are accessible.
- Water fountains are accessible only to fill water bottles.
- The public washrooms are accessible, but for a restricted number of people.
- Camps and sports-related development sessions are not permitted for the time being.
- The maximum number of people permitted in indoor public places will be subject to change, based on directives from public health authorities and ongoing changes in Montréal’s zone status. For green and yellow zones, the maximum capacity for an indoor space is 50, and for an orange zone it is 25. For a red zone, the maximum capacity is 25 people per space, on the condition that the 2 m distance is observed, and only drop-in activities and sports-study can be offered. In addition, spectators are prohibited, with the exception of one companion per participant if required (children ages 10 and under, people with a disability).
As a preventive measure, an attendance register is kept during certain drop-in activities at the arena.
